Maintain, wire, and repair electrical equipment and control panels; disassemble, clean, inspect, test and make minor repairs to electric motors.  Install wiring and controls on machines and wire into service bus duct.  Maintain and make minor repairs to electronic equipment.  Wire and assemble controls panels from a schematic working with engineers.  Perform electrical repairs to the plant light system such as wiring and replacing lighting fixtures, wiring in machinery, etc.

  • Plan, layout, and perform all required operations to install, assemble, maintain and repair all machine tools and other equipment used in various plant departments. 
  • Align and level machine tools and equipment to the required accuracy and test for effective operation. 
  • Set up and operate standard machine tools to perform machining operations for repairs or replacement parts. 
  • Troubleshoot equipment that is not performing to standards.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, overhaul, assemble, and test hydraulic pumps, valves, and other line components, air filters, cylinders, valves, chucks, vises, etc.
  • Manufacture components needed to small repairs as required using the equipment available in the plant.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to assigned equipment to maintain effectiveness and uptime.
  • Perform general plant and facility maintenance tasks.
  • Report all unusual conditions to the Supervisor.  Perform instruction given by the supervisor or group leader.

High School Diploma or GED.

Technical School, certfications for electronics, read schematics.

Understands Safety Lock Out Tag protocol. Working and maintaing a safe work enviroment.

Must have a  minimum of 2 years of maintenance, electrical experience, machanically inclined.
