  • Serve as primary resource for the generation of 3D CAD part designs and corresponding technical drawings.
  • Prepare drawings, figures, and other necessary documentation for technical review and release processes.
  • Support the product lifecycle management process for CAD files, drawings, and other documentation.
  • Complete work packages on schedule and in compliance with technical, program, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with project engineers to resolve and implement technical solutions as necessary.
  • Review technical drawings for optimal GD&T specifications.


Reports to:  Director of Engineering. 


2+ years of experience with 3D CAD design & technical drawings is required. GD&T knowledge and experience is a necessity. Experience with CREO Parametric, Windchill, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD is highly preferable. High school diploma or GED is required; An Associate or Technical School Degree is a plus.

Relevant experience in mechanical, or structural design (aerospace strongly preferred), preferably including: concept definition; design and layout; design creation and drawing release; model and drawing checking; specification interpretation; manufacturing and supplier support. Experience with military or aerospace standards desired.

Experience in successful, on time, accurate execution of work packages and job assignments.  Strong interpersonal skills are desired.  Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously required.
