Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing programs and serves as liaison between the customer, senior leadership, functional leadership, the support team, and production management. Assesses program issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, inventory and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Responsible for managing and communicating program P&L, EAC adherence, leading cost reduction initiatives, and performing and maintaining risk and opportunity matrix for responsible programs. Develops mechanisms for monitoring program progress and for intervention and problem solving with the cross functional team, production managers, and customers.  Develops and implements solutions to a variety of complex problems. Ability to successfully lead and manage cross-functional teams. May refer to established precedents and policies. Work is performed under minimal direction. Plans, schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Exerts influence on overall objectives and long range goals of the organization. Position requires knowledge and successful application of lean principles, in a manufacturing environment. Requires experience leading multi-functional teams and completing major projects resulting in financial savings to the organization. Must be available to travel, as needed.


The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus ten years of related experience. PMP certification is preferred. Must have a complete understanding and application of principles, financials, concepts, practices and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. Position requires knowledge and successful application of lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
