Under the direction of supervision, coordinate, instruct, assist, schedule and perform the activities/duties of material handlers to support manufacturing operations, office areas, field sites, and other areas as required.


  • Prioritize workloads based on schedules provided.
  • Monitor and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices, and directives.
  • Coordinate material handling activities.
  • Process the necessary documentation to complete job assignment and resolve discrepancies in order to expedite the flow of material.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper usage of tools, machines, and equipment.
  • Coordinate the availability of materials and supplies necessary for performing job assignments.
  • Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with government and corporate specifications.
  • Interface with Traffic, Quality Control, Purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems relative to receipt and distribution of material and inventory/material problems.
  • Resolve discrepancies arising from incorrect paperwork, quantities, or other related problems.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet lifts, hand trucks, and other equipment.


Job Knowledge and Educational Requirements:

  • Knowledge of shop routines and practices is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of personal computers, including operating systems and file management is required.
  • High school diploma or an accredited GED.


  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in warehousing, stock, or other related areas

 General Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting, bending, climbing, standing, grasping, pulling, pushing stooping, stretching and carrying
