Responsibilities
- The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing operations. Working from customer prints, our Engineers evaluate products and prepare operational plans to be used by manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain robust manufacturing processes, document process changes, drive process improvements, develop and correct time standards and improve cycle times.
- Troubleshoot problems on the shop floor, develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycle times.
- Manage multiple projects and providing engineering support where required.
- Provide technical support and effectively interact with customers and all departments - manufacturing, sales, purchasing, quality, and program management.
- Ensure that all manufacturing design processes and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical/historical base for future reference and to meet customer/end user requirements.
- Completion of any work related tasks in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- This position requires some CAD experience. Autocad and Inventor are a plus.
- Must be very organized and be able to work on different cross-functional teams at the same time.
- A manufacturing background, some knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups would be beneficial.
- The ability to bring new ideas and positive attitude and support to current engineering and manufacturing processes would be helpful.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or similar field preferred
