Job Summary

 

The Senior Analyst, Planning/ Master Scheduler at Triumph Geared-Solutions Macomb is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production planning department.  The Senior Analyst,Planning/Master Scheduler will lead the internal planning team to develop daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans and collaborate with all other cross functional team to execute plan.

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute forecast to align with AOP requirements
  • Lead production planning efforts both internally and externally with the production schedulers
  • Interfaces with Program Management and Contracts on the coordination of customer orders to meet on time Delivery in Full
  • Control’s part by part planning forecast while managing risks and opportunities with the planning team
  • Maintains and standardizes new workflows
  • Aligns the team to drive department goals
  • Responsible for execution of standard work across all planning functions, and maintaining department KPI’s
  • Provide continuous development of the planning department through ongoing training, & Production engagement.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing and customer demand
  • Convey and enforce company policies and procedures across the planning team
  • End of year stockroom count
  • Support IAT/SIOP
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Working knowledge of material flow
  • Background in Master Scheduling and Planning
  • In depth knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems
  • ERP and MRP management from order entry to shipment of product
  • Strong interpersonal skills needed to lead cross functional projects
  • Strong decision - making skills for making timely and informed decisions
  • Analytical skills for evaluating data to ensure the best processes
  • Hands on experience with forecasting and budgeting
  • Excellent emotional and time management skills
  • Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and optimize scheduling to meet fluctuating demand
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
  • System Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance scheduling tools and software for improved performance.

Physical Requirments

 

  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for a period of time.
  • Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on a computer or documentation, etc.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment.
  • Must be capable of withstanding long period of viewing data on a computer screen and/or in paper format
