Performs cleaning, receiving, preliminary, in process inspection. Ensure compliance to all internal quality systems, customer and regulatory requirements. Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with internal control procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Parts 43, 65 and 145 regulations
  • Works with component maintenance manuals, service bulletins and airworthiness directives
  • Uses predetermined methods, operations, and specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed bearings
  • Uses various measuring devices
  • Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective units
  • Works from blueprints, customer specifications, diagrams, inspection instructions, etc.
  • Comply wiht all company policies, including attendance
  • Understand, read, write and speak English; good communication skills (oral and written)
  • One year aviation experienced preferred, not required
  • Demonstrates troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to follow written technical instructions, interpret mechanical drawings, and use standard gauges and other measuring devices
  • Must be able to pass eye exam with or without correction
  • Must be proficient with MS office software and have good computer abilities
