Performs cleaning, receiving, preliminary, in process inspection.  Ensure compliance to all internal quality systems, customer and regulatory requirements. Accepts, rejects or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with internal control procedures

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Parts 43, 65 and 145 regulations
  • Works with component maintenance manuals, service bulletins and airworthiness directives
  • Uses predetermined methods, operations, and specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed bearings
  • Uses various measuring devices
  • Accepts, rejects, or reworks defective units
  • Works from blueprints, customer specifications, diagrams, inspection instructions, etc.
  • Monitors and verifies in accordance with process and procedures
  • Comply with all company policies, including attendance
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Understand, read, write and speak English; good communication skills (oral and written)
  • One year; aviation experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to follow written technical instructions, interpret mechanical drawings, and use standard gauges and other measuring devices
  • Good reasoning ability while exercising good judgment
  • Must be able to pass eye exam with or without correction
  • Must be proficient with MS software and have good computer abilities. 
  • Within the first 90 days, must be able to gain an operational understanding of Triumph operating systems
