UK Sales Representative
We, Triumph Mechanical Solutions UK seek an experienced Sales representative as part of our business development team to grow our business in the aerospace & defense industry, and compatible adjacent markets, for our Hydraulic, Electro mechanical and Electronic products and systems capability.
TMS UK, part of Triumph Group (TGI), designs, engineers and manufactures a broad portfolio of aerospace and defence components, accessories, subassemblies, systems. We partner with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and operators of commercial, regional, business, and military aircraft worldwide to provide products and services that solve their most complex problems.
JOB SUMMARY
The position is responsible for generating increased revenue for TMS UK by strategically expanding our footprint within the industry, bringing in new prospects to grow our customer base, and collaborating to develop existing accounts. Our team is looking for a self-starter, self-driven sales representative with the desire to grow and expand our sales revenue, our product portfolio and our customer base.
The position requires knowledge and experience of the aerospace and defense industry.
MAIN TASKs
- Market analysis (comprehension of emerging projects, competition, technologies and partnerships, maintenance).
- Presentation of Triumph UK products and capability to key target customers.
- Proactively market, approach/target customers, respond to and generate leads and qualifying opportunities
- Customer care for existing accounts.
- Budget planning (Forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals) & reporting
- Experienced in supporting large multinational customers and their supply chains as well as bespoke orders
- working with and supporting the commercial and contracts team
- home base will be Triumph’s facility in Deeside, Flintshire.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL
• Proven track record in a similar role
• Knowledge and understanding of Aerospace & Defense Industry
• Ability to Travel (more than 50%)
• Ability to create a sales strategy
• Market analysis
• Weekly reporting
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills across all levels
• A driving license is essential as this role will mainly be traveling
DESIRABLE
• Ideally, engineer background or qualifications in sales or business administration
• Experience of hydraulic, Electro-mechanical and Electronics systems & components
• Good negotiator, commercial, pricing skills
• Use of Microsoft Dynamics CRM (or similar)
• Track record of dealing with large and complex bids in a selling environment.
