Infor Syteline Solutions Architect

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



•    Knowledge of Syteline ERP applications, business system processes and process improvement. 
•    Capable of following technical installation manuals and installing complex applications
•    Functional support of SyteLine ERP Application forms and end-user support.
•    Understand the business issues and workflow. Use this skill to support user/customer requests to improve internal systems through automation.  
•    Identify and gather necessary information from management team to ensure proper setup of codes. 
•    Assist in the development and maintenance of system policy and procedure documentation.
•    Assist in the development and implementation of security policies consistent with the needs of a growing business.
•    Project management skills.
•    Ability to install license keys and manage usage.
•    Ability to maintain master data record replication rules within multi-site ERP system.
•    40% travel (EMEA & APAC)
•    Other various duties as necessary or assigned. 

Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience BS in Business or Computer Science with a minimum of 5-10 years specific SyteLine ERP application experience, business systems processes, and business systems development, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills, data process modeling, knowledge of competition, industry happenings and knowledge of how the company is positioning itself is a plus. 

Language Skills Read, write and speak English fluently.

 Business System Improvements
•    Improvements are defined as changes that increase productivity and efficiency, or changes that enable us to become/remain compliant to external regulatory requirements.
•    Work with the management team to identify opportunities for improvements to the existing business practices, processes and tools. 
•    Lead new IT initiatives and process improvements enabled by ERP or other software tools. 
•    Gather user requirements Assess/define departmental needs in the use of ERP and or other tools/systems to aid in the streamlining of the workflow and daily processes.


Training / User Support
•    Train employees and assist or undertake the writing of instructional procedures, user guides and systems documentation as needed.
•    Provide ongoing end-user support in both Finance and Manufacturing.
•    Personalized customer service skills
•    Support ERP software users both developing skills and ongoing training.
•    Be able to troubleshoot data and system usage problems. 
•    Help to identify corrective actions then support implementation of improved practices or systems.
