HR Business Partner
Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Deeside. Travel to other sites will be required.
Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner will work closely with HR Director and the UK and Isle of Man leadership teams to provide oversight in executing the Human Resources strategy that aligns to the business regarding key areas of focus including talent acquisition, change management, compensation, and benefits, labour relations, employee engagement, performance management, human resources reporting, leadership and training development.
Responsibilities
• Executes the HR Strategy that aligns to the business regarding HR policies and initiatives including but not limited to employment, compensation, employee relations, training, talent acquisition and development, work practices and employee selection to improve the site’s organisation capability.
• Partners with leaders to ensure the organisation possesses the necessary workforce with capability to effectively and efficiently deliver core services while managing labour cost and developing future bench strength.
• Identifies workforce gaps, risks, and areas of opportunity for the organisation.
• Using HR Metrics, deliver data-driven people solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible.
• Conduct investigations and support disciplinaries at all sites on employee relations matters.
• Support daily employee related activities and processes to promote positive employee relations.
• Conduct recruiting process including interviews and selection, ensuring compliance with all regulations; conducts new-employee inductions; monitors career paths and champions P&DP process.
• Provide counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues.
• Provide support or deliver training on a variety of Human Resources topics including interviewing, coaching etc
• Work with supervisors/managers on effective handling of retention, performance management, and engagement strategies.
• Supports compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program.
• Maintains compliance with employment regulations.
• Maintains employee personnel information and files.

• Work with the Director, Human Resources to drive best-in-class practices and processes across Triumph Group that support and enable the business transformation as well as developing and transforming the human resources organisation.
This position will report to the Director, Human Resources.
Qualifications and Criteria
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 5 years of experience
3 years of progressive HR experience in a plant or operations environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Human Resources or MBA from an accredited institution
Experience working in an industrial company, specifically aerospace and defence, is highly preferred.

Demonstrated functional knowledge of governmental regulations and laws that impact the employment relationship.
A strong generalist/business partner background would be valued with an emphasis on talent management and transformation.
