Position Summary

This development role requires an individual with high levels of administrative competence. The Commercial Associate holds an essential interfacing position, engaging with all business stakeholders (internal and external), ensuring comprehensive management of the customer account orderbooks, providing both the customers and the business comprehensive analysis in an effective and professional manner.

Specific Requirements of the Role

 

The Commercial Asociate position shall include, but is not limited to:

Customer management:

  •    Entering/ maintaining sales orders, supporting sales forecasts and the budget 
    -    Interface with the customer building strong, long-term relationships as a key part of the first line of enquiry process
    -    Providing accurate and timely quotations in response to Request for Quote (RFQs) or repair requests from customers
    -    Validation of sales orders or repair order requests, against customer terms and conditions, quality requirements, etc
    -    Accurate checking and acknowledgement of Purchase Orders, ensuring full compliance with ITC (International Trade Compliance) requirements, and validating against existing pricing
    -    Compile and analyse customer performance data (Against Orderbook changes, Program Rates, ‘In-contract’ demand changes etc), identifying key risks and opportunities to the business
    -    Ensure all system quoted prices are contractually agreed and accurately support current exchange rates (where applicable)
    -    Identifying and delivering opportunities to enhance the profitability of the business.  

       -    Provide cover and support for departmental and other related activities.

       -    Other duties as assigned to ensure customer and internal needs are met.

-    Excellent administration skills
-    Excellent communication skills
-    Ability to use Microsoft packages (Excel, PowerPoint)
-    Interest in learning and developing with the team
-    Task/ Achievement focussed
-    Able to prioritise tasks effectively and identify where priority guidance is required
-    Excellent attention to detail and willingness to work towards deadlines
-    Interest in learning new software systems, such as MRP & customer portals for Sales Order management is desirable
-    Knowledge of electronics manufacture would be a significant benefit
-    Maintain a high standard of Health and Safety based upon safe working practices and support environmental initiatives.

Qualifications

Beneficial to have some experience of administration or customer management 
-    Beneficial to have experience in a Manufacturing / Aerospace environment 
-    Beneficial to have knowledge of ERP systems
-    Maths and English qualifications preferred.
-    HNC/ HND level in Business Management or similar equivalent experience.

Position Details

-    Located at our Deeside Facility
-    Travel to and working at other Triumph and Customer locations worldwide may periodically be required
-    Hours of Employment: 37 hours a week; flexibility will be required to suit workload.
