Position Profile: Supply Chain Data Analyst

Summary:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will conduct data analysis and data mining to improve our supply chain operations. In this role, you should have an analytical mindset and a strong business acumen. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
 

Essential Functions:
•    Create processes and methods for gathering supply chain data for use in metrics / reports.
•    Generate weekly / monthly reports as necessary in support of Supply Chain and Business.
•    QLIK Sense site super user supporting team utilization, data availability and uploads.
•    Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
•    Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects.
•    Develop process requirements and standard work.
•    Help foster trusting relationships with business partners.
•    Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective business solutions.
•    Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance
•    Support data organization for supply chain quote efforts
•    Complete Small Business Plans and Reporting for Defense Programs as required.
•    Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook.
•    Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements.
 

Competencies:
•    Excellent verbal and written communications in English.
•    Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, Buyer or similar role
•    Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting
•    Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management)
•    Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor)
o    Advanced Excel and Power BI experience a plus
o    Epicor experience preferred.
•    Analytical mind with business acumen

•    Excellent communication skills
•    Outstanding organizational ability

Supervisory responsibility:
The Supply Chain Data Analyst role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required education, certification, and experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business or similar field of study or equivalent experience.   

Preferred education, certification, and experience:
•    Three (3) of years of Procurement, Supply Chain or Purchasing experience with a focus on data analytics.

Physical demands:
•    May require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to twenty (20) pounds.
•    Up to eight (8) hours per day, or a combination of sitting and standing. 

Relocation: Not available - onsite position 

Travel:
Up to 10% travel.
