ERP Business Analyst

We are currently seeking an ERP Specialist, Information Technology for our Clemmons, NC location. The ERP Business Analyst is responsible for providing support for the Epicor ERP system. This role will be responsible for administration and support of daily ERP operations. Ensure Triumph maximizes the investment in Epicor helping to drive strategic ERP improvements aligned with business initiatives across each functional area. Keys to success will be through partnering with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure we are driving increased value through streamlined ERP processes for automation of manual activities. 
Epicor functionality and ERP administration experience will be required to align with continuous improvement expectations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, user administration, monthly and quarterly assessments (CSAs) in line with SOX requirements, supporting user requests, application changes in accordance to our change process, as well as key critical business activities requiring additional support like Annual Physical Inventory planning, execution, and support. In this role, you should be highly analytical, data-driven, and technical, focused on business needs and requirements. Strong Epicor ERP experience and problem-solving abilities are essential.

RESPONSIBILITES:
•    Cross-functional collaboration and support across the Epicor user community to answer questions and solve problems in areas such as supply chain, sales, finance, and operations.  
•    Meet and coordinate with business process owners to appropriately develop solutions to business problems the functional groups are facing understanding the nature of the problem for resolution.
•    Seek out Continuous Improvement opportunities and participate in Kaizen or other CI lean events to identify appropriate IT recommendations and solutions to issues identified in the event.
•    Support key critical business activities with the Finance Group to support special tasks such as the annual physical inventory, yearly rates roll, and SOX audit requests that require IT support.
•    This individual will work with developers to define change requests for added utilization of expanded system functionality, determined to be necessary by the IT Director, and work with end users to create the appropriate requirements and test documentation.
•    Stay up to date on emerging Epicor technologies to align with strategic business needs. 
•    Communicate updates ensuring efficient and accurate information flows across the organization. 
•    Create and maintain documentation assisting in SOP creation of ERP processes. 
•    Provide advice and technical training to Epicor system users using SOPs.
•    Establishes and maintains contact with Epicor support for problem and issue resolution.
•    Other duties & special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have solid business, technical, and interpersonal experiences, skills, and growth
potential.  Highly desired skills/experiences include: 

•    Must be knowledgeable in best practices and fluent in ERP methodologies and business processes. 
•    This individual is knowledgeable in most areas of the business. This person needs to understand how sales orders turn into shop orders or purchase orders, in-turn assembled relieving inventory and turn into products that ship and end up tying out in the finance area. 
•    Well versed in understanding AR, AP and GL and can assist the finance group in these areas.
•    Understanding of what MRP does and how it works.
•    Understands how to setup AAI and Epicor security to provide the appropriate security levels. 
•    Understands Epicor tables and how they interact with the programs.
•    The ability to work with the Epicor Fat client / OMW.
•    Experience with EDI a plus.
•    Experience in LEAN, SIX SIGMA, and ITIL methodologies a plus.
•    Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Experience working in cross-functional teams.
•    Experience leveraging critical thinking and exposure to change management principles.
•    Ability to act independently with limited supervision within scope of responsibility.
•    Ability to listen, understand and translate business requirements.
•    Experience supporting public manufacturing businesses; experience in aerospace a plus.
•    Experience with SOX compliance, DFARS compliance, and ITAR Security requirements.
•    Lead IT SOX self-assessment efforts and document performed CSAs via our IT Ticketing system. 
•    Help to maintain SLAs within our IT Ticketing system for ERP support and requests. 
•    Detail oriented and committed to meeting deadlines.
•    Must be flexible, dependable, and able to multi-task.
•    Remain professional, positive, and patient at all time.
•    Maintain shift/schedule flexibility providing on-call support and customer service 24x7x365 as needed.

 

EDUCATION  
•    Bachelor’s degree in or higher in Computer Science, IS or related discipline or related discipline with 3-5 years of practical experience (required).
