Responsibilities

Position Profile: Maintenance Associate

Job Summary:   Assists in the maintenance/preventative maintenance of machinery and facilities by performing the following duties as directed.

Major Accountabilities:

1.    Adheres to machine maintenance practices by maintaining machine coolants and lubrications.

2.    Maintains the air filtration systems for production and facilities equipment by monitoring airflow and changing filters when necessary. Will also make sure there are replacement filters by monitoring inventory.

3.    Will maintain operation of machine tools by performing necessary PM programs.

4.    Contributes to having necessary maintenance consumables by maintaining a weekly inventory.

5.    Will maintain a neat and orderly area in the shop, dumpster locations, pallet storage, metal rack, and facility grounds by adhering to good housekeeping practices.

6.    Will assist the facilities and mechanical personnel as needed by responding to maintenance instructions and requests.

7.    Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive attitude.

8.    Will stay abreast of maintenance practices by attending classes relating to Industrial Maintenance
Technology/Electronics.

9.    Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook.

10.  Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements.

11.  Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.
 

Qualifications

Physical Limitations: Work may require bending, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to seventy-five (75) pounds, pulling, pushing, and reaching.  This position requires multi-tasking ability, effective verbal communication skills, knowledge of industrial electronics, electrical diagrams, CNC controls, and hydraulics.

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience Required: Three to five years in a manufacturing environment
