Triumph Systems & Support – Clemmons is seeking candidates for an Engineering Internship within the site's Aftermarket unit. This internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to his or her major in engineering that will enhance and complement their classroom learning.


Summer internship with the Triumph – Clemmons Aftermarket Team will include rotations thru technical reporting, analysis, and process improvements while receiving technical and mechanical oversite. 


The technical reporting activities, depending on experience, may include items such as archiving current and historic customer reliability data, Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) reviews and updating various department databases and metric files.


Analysis activities, depending on experience, may include items such as, supporting failure investigations, analyzing data, creating/updating current processes and report generation/review.


Our Part 145 Repair Station has many intricate parts that would benefit someone looking to go into the aerospace field. This person would learn how we are able to keep up with FAA, CAAC, & EASA rules and regulations that define this side of the business.


The intern will spend a minimum of 1 week in the repair and overhaul station watching and learning, in order to gain experience and familiarity with Triumph products. From there they would assist the CSE in responding to customer’s needs and inquiries, while contributing to the success of upcoming programs.


Other activities may be assigned as required and depending on demonstrated capability.


  • Currently enrolled in an ABET accredited program for Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Completed sophomore year of college
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated fluency in English.
  • Experience with critical thinking and problem solving
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
