Contract Management Specialist

Responsibilities

Job Summary:    

The Contract Management Specialist plays a key role in protecting Triumph’s commercial interests with responsibility over managing contracts, reviewing customer orders, as well as the identification & flow down of contractual requirements.

In addition to having demonstrated experience in the area’s defined below, this role requires a high level of integrity, strong multi-tasking & organizational skills, follow through on commitments, and an ability to build relationships across the organization as well as a diverse customer base.

Major Accountabilities:  
1.    Responsible for the Contract Review and Flow Down process for new customer contracts and purchase orders to ensure terms are aligned with company expectations prior to acceptance.
2.    Assists in the administration of Customer Contracts to ensure the company and our customers are adhering to the agreed terms and conditions utilizing compliance matrices, key terms summary, and/or other forms as applicable.
3.    Represents Triumph and engages with customer towards amicable settlement of disputes.
4.    Provides support and guidance in interpreting customer contracts.
5.    Reviews NDAs, coordinates with Contracts Manager and/or legal department to execute.
6.    Manages and maintains the site Contracts Database including Contracts, Order Terms & Conditions, NDAs, and formal correspondence between Triumph and its customers.
7.    Releases routine contract letters and supports other formal letters as needed.
8.    Coordinates annual pricing reviews to optimize income and profits
9.    Prepares documents and analyzes data using combination of ERP analytics and Microsoft Office software.
10.    Supports proposal activity as assigned including creation of compliance matrices and launching approval workflows.    
11.    Follows policies & procedures aligned w/Contracts Playbook & company delegations
12.    Participates in High Performance Teams representing the Contracts function when applicable.
13.    Fosters positive relationships with internal and external customers.
14.    Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Functions and /or Physical Limitations:  

Work requires the ability to understand and follow instructions in English; to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and to work effectively as part of a team.   Work may also require bending, carrying, and lifting up to 10 pounds. This position requires familiarity with contract & financial concepts, mathematical ability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Occasional travel may also be required.


Minimum Education Required:

College Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent desired. 


Minimum Experience Required:  

5+ years contracts, program management, or related experience preferably in an aerospace environment with working knowledge of government contracting. Contracts Management Accreditation (NCMA, etc.) a plus.
