The Channel Partner's role is to ensure that all contracts undertaken by the Triumph Group for distributing our products are with Companies or entities that have the tools at their disposal to meet all customer needs. This may involve answering calls, answering emails, finding resources, and in assisting customers dissatisfied with the current distributor. The Channel Partner oversees all incoming RFP / RFQ traffic, developing and monitoring pricing strategies, and provides support for Sales and Business Development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Channel Partner is responsible for overseeing, developing and managing the contracts that will work best across the enterprise to ensure that we meet customer needs as well as ensuring that overlaps do not occur and that penalties are not oppressive. This position serves in a critical end customer-facing role through distribution; tasks and activities can include:

  • Managing distributor relationship to ensure both parties are maximizing their potential 
  • Determining the distribution strategy while ensuring end customer satisfaction, setting up Stocking Distributor agreements where possible
  • Monitoring and determining competitive pricing strategies, ensuring Triumph is positioned properly in the overall market
  • Monitoring the market for products that need pricing adjustments for increased market share while increasing margins
  • Managing existing distribution channels across TSS to ensure compliance and growth
  • Develop product line strategies to support business growth and aftermarket recapture 
  • Interacting with the Sales, Business Development, Program Management and Contracts representatives at each of the Triumph Group sites
  • Working with the sales team in finding new business outlets or opportunities in differing markets.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to determine which services and products are profitable, and which could be outsourced
  • Developing, maintaining, and analyzing metrics to ensure sustained growth
  • Interacting with Management, supplying monthly reports developed from the data collected
  • Maintaining and updating the Distributor Contract program as contracts and agreements evolve.
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure the customer needs are met 
  • Travel as needed to conferences, events and aftermarket customers in coordination with distributors



  • BS Engineering, or BBA Business, MBA preferred
  • Understanding product distribution into varying markets and market segments
  • Analysis of Existing Data, and Data provided or collected
  • Knowledge of Finance, calculating Gross Margin and Cost of Sales
  • Knowledge of Business Development and Aftermarket Processes
  • Be dynamic, optimistic, and stay calm under pressure
  • Show solid interpersonal skills and be a strong leader
  • Be able to build sustainable relationships, negotiate face to face or with a group
  • Be able to understand and influence your target audience
  • Possess excellent communication skills
