The BD Operations Analyst (BDOA) provides pipeline management and tracking in Microsoft Dynamics for new and momentum customer engagements across the Actuation & Geared Solutions OpCo. The BDOA will also work with cross-functional teams at each of the OpCo's five sites to insure new and momentum engagements are accurately tracked and are pacing to the planned schedule.  Position is open to being based in Yakima WA, Valencia CA, Park City UT, Redmond WA, or Macomb MI

  • Maintain Microsoft Dynamics database to insure it accurately reflects the status of each new and momentum bid for the AGS OpCo
  • Generate reports and tracking metrics to be used in status meetings, MORs, and other BD Pipeline management activities
  • Work with OpCo sites to establish timelines and track progress on all proposals, alert senior management at times of risk or lacking progress
  • Work with OpCo sites to assist in insuring they are conducting proposal kick-off meetings and progress/status meetings to maintain proposal schedules
  • Assist in management of bid gate review process for bid decisions
  • Interface with different functional groups, such as Sales, Program Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Contracts, Operations, and Engineering
  • Participate on internal planning calls and customer calls with technical and business development as needed
  • Bachelor's degree; engineering or technical background is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years aerospace or defense market experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Ability to work independently with guidance but no oversight
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of RFP and sales process
  • Problem solving skills and ability to navigate a matrix organization
  • Financial acumen - understanding of non-recurring and recurring costing, and pricing
  • Analytical - ability to read, interpret, analyze, and solve problems
