Summary

We are looking for a qualified full-stack Web Developer to design, configure and maintain Triumph’s web applications and websites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will possess strong collaboration skills to help define business requirements and deliver against them.

Primary objectives:

  • Build, maintain and continually optimize new and existing applications using Triumph’s SDLC and Change Management policies and procedures
  • Ensure web applications are functional across different browser types, conducting tests to verify functionality and assess user experience.
  • Implement enhancements and system upgrades to Triumph’s DevOps tool kit to assure optimal performance
  • Provide 24 x 7 troubleshooting support and routine maintenance
  • Provide strategy for the web development and deployment roadmap

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather and document user/process requirements
  • Analyzing technical requirements, create, and adapt code and best practices
  • Reviewing application requirements and interface designs. Identifying web-based user interactions
  • Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts
  • Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following Angular, Node and React.js frameworks
  • Managing quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing
  • Creating Builds and deploying/managing deployments

  • Monitoring and improving front-end performance
  • Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
  • Documenting application changes for future work and maintenance
  • Optimizing system performance, security, and storage utilization. Planning ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support the environment
  • Managing large amounts of information, expectations, and priorities with flexibility
  • Carrying out other duties which may be reasonably expected by the immediate manager or other IT leaders

Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in CIS or related field OR equivalent experience
  • Over 5+ years of software development experience which includes 3+ years of extensive experience as a React JS Developer and 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Developer
  • Advanced knowledge of CSS, SCSS, Styled Components or UX/UI Design
  • Integration experience with API, SOAP, REST, GraphQL, Express, and/or direct to database
  • Strong grasp of IT infrastructure and application development technology and architecture
  • Strong working knowledge of GitHub, Git, Team City and Octopus Deploy
  • Working Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and IIS
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases like Postgres, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL
  • Strong analytical, process-oriented, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to manage ad hoc requests
  • A solid technical background combined with customer service experience with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Ownership and follow up skills; dedicated and able to work to deadlines
  • Able to work both as part of a team or under own initiative. Able to take responsibility for own and team’s actions and performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
